Alternative Heat designs, develops, and delivers offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions across the UK & Europe. We specialize in the design, supply, and installation of prefabricated energy solutions, primarily built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. Our services also include turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centers and large-scale district heating projects, with extensive experience working with public bodies across the UK & Europe.

Due to growth, we are seeking a General Labourer to support our expanding teams.

Job Details

• Location: Banbridge
• Hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday
• Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
• Responsible to: Fabrication Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Assemble modular frames.
• Install equipment into frames and modules.
• Heat wrap and package modules for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Operate engineering equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Prepare materials for the fabrication facility.
• Perform maintenance and maintain general housekeeping.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Criteria

Essential

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Assembly experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in reading measurements and using hand and power tools.

Desirable

• Valid CSR Card.
• Current Forklift license.
