Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on General Foreman to join the Bristol site delivery team. The role focuses on coordinating daily operations for highways and civil engineering and ensuring work is delivered safely and to programme.

You will oversee labour, subcontractors and resources, maintaining progress and quality, with a strong emphasis on health, safety and site records in a busy project environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Foreman or Senior Foreman in civil engineering/highways.
• Strong knowledge of highways construction and civil engineering operations.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and direct labour.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work to demanding programmes.
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
• Valid CSCS card.
• First Aid qualification desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary: £51,000-£55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance

RGB Recruitment is working with an established civil engineering contractor seeking an experienced General Foreman to join its site delivery team in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on General Foreman with a strong background in highways and civil engineering to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work.

The Role As General Foreman, you will take responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements.
