Job summary

A role with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd seeking a professional general engineer to perform design, project programming and construction management. You will oversee real property facilities, infrastructure and utility systems, managing projects for new construction and renovations.

You will monitor contractors, plan, program and budget projects while collecting data and evaluating factors influencing technical work.

Qualifications

• UK nationals only; must hold UK citizenship and have lived in the UK for at least 8 of the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, project programming and construction management duties for real property facilities and infrastructure.
• Monitor duties and improvement projects of facilities and utility systems; manage projects for new construction and renovations.
• Maintain supervision of contractors to ensure contract specifications and schedules; plan, program, budget and execute projects.
• Collect data and evaluate factors affecting concepts, observe, measure, analyze, map and describe physical and technical features.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental rules to improve the safety of the work environment.

The primary duties of this role is to serve as a professional general engineer, performing design, project programming and construction management. You will monitor duties and improvement projects of real property facilities and infrastructure, to include utility systems, and manage projects for new construction and renovations. You will maintain surveillance over construction contractors to ensure overall compliance with contract specifications and schedules. In addition, you will plan, program, budget, and execute required projects, collect data and evaluate factors which affect the application of concepts, principles, theories and methods required to observe, examine, measure, analyze, map, and describe physical and technical features and phenomena. You will comply with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
