Job summary

Civil Engineering Recruitment seeks an Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary delivery across major projects on long-term frameworks in the UK. You will guide engineers, manage design and construction information, and maintain strong client and partner relationships across the programme.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in civil/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement to guide diverse technical teams.

• Champion health, safety and environmental performance across all activities.
• Support development and assurance of permanent works solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, project teams and supply chain partners.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and ensure construction information aligns with programme requirements.
• Coordinate materials, plant and resources to support delivery.
• Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements and key project documentation.
• Ensure quality standards through inspection, testing and site verification.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status, or actively working towards chartership
• Strong Engineering Management capability with the ability to lead, guide and support diverse technical teams
• Adaptable, solutions‑focused mindset with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
