Job summary
Puffy, a market-leading D2C brand, seeks a General Counsel, AI-First Legal Delivery. Own legal work across investments, corporate matters, and the CEO’s personal matters. Report to the CEO and coordinate with outside counsel in a fully remote, global role.
This is a hands-on, accountable position with AI-led production and strict confidentiality controls. The role combines commercial drafting, cross-border coordination, and risk analysis, with a direct impact on capital decisions and strategy.
Qualifications
- Recognized law degree and licensure in good standing.
- 5–10 years of relevant legal experience.
- Hands-on experience using AI for legal work.
- Willing to work extended hours and weekends.
- Experience with investments, family offices, or corporate/commercial contracts.
Responsibilities
- Own legal judgment with direct CEO access and independent recommendations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, retail, and affiliate agreements; support due diligence.
- Coordinate disputes, regulatory inquiries, and litigation with outside counsel.
- Use AI for legal research, drafting, risk analysis, and executive reporting.
- Ensure compliance and verifiable advice across multiple workstreams.
