The Lanhydrock estate comprises a grade 1 listed mansion set in a 25-acre garden and surrounded by 910 acres of countryside. The property is presented today at its late Victorian zenith when it was the home of Thomas, 2nd Lord Robartes, his wife Mary, and their large family who were looked after by a staff of 80. The property offers a fascinating insight into the workings of a country estate, both above and below stairs.

You'll help with the day-to-day presentation of the National Trust's buildings and outdoor spaces. You'll be turning your hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor bits of maintenance, making sure that all our facilities are kept in good working order. Duties include cleaning visitor and staff toilets and break areas, sweeping, litter-picking indoors and outdoors. You'll aim for the highest standards of customer service, speaking to visitors and assisting with queries. You might also get involved with general maintenance work and supporting other teams as needed.
