Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant for Dulwich Prep in London. You will help maintain a clean, safe kitchen and support chefs in education settings.

Term-time only, 35 weeks, 11:00–18:30, £13.45 per hour with 28 days holiday and training opportunities. Free meals and development are offered as part of a supportive catering team.

Qualifications

• A keen interest in food and cooking, eager to learn and develop skills
• Good attention to detail and understanding of hygiene practices
• Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
• Previous kitchen experience or relevant training is beneficial but not essential
• Willingness to work in an education or high-profile catering environment is desirable

Responsibilities

• Have a great costumer service and attention to detail, good comunicator
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist chefs with basic food prep and stock deliveries
• Operate dishwashers and ensure proper sanitation practices
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Support the team in daily kitchen operations and setup for service
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls
