Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd. is seeking a General Builder to join our on-site team in Northern Ireland.

You will lead and coordinate multi-skilled construction activities across pollution restoration projects for the insurance sector, ensuring safety and quality at every step. You’ll handle bricklaying, underpinning, concreting, drainage, and related tasks, operate on-site machinery, and collaborate closely with Project Managers to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• A construction professional with multi-skilled experience, capable of taking charge and inspiring others.
• Strong organisational and planning skills to manage day-to-day site activities effectively.
• A clean driving license and a readiness to hit the road.
• Willingness to travel and work away as required, tackling challenges head-on.
• Must be based within Northern Ireland and available to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate teams on-site to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Travel to project sites
