Job summary

MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd is seeking a General Builder to join our on-site team. You will lead and coordinate multi-skilled workers, bringing expertise from bricklaying to underpinning, concreting, drainage and more.

You will operate site machinery, prepare sites, and restore properties to their original condition while prioritising safety with PPE and HAVS controls. Travel to project sites and close collaboration with Project Managers are required.

Qualifications

• Construction professional with multi-skilled experience and ability to take charge.
• Strong organisational skills to manage day-to-day site activities.
• Clean driving license and willingness to travel/work away.
• Willingness to travel and tackle challenges on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate teams on-site to deliver projects efficiently and to high standards.
• Apply multi-skilled construction expertise across bricklaying, underpinning, concreting, drainage and more.
• Operate machinery like mini diggers and dumpers.
• Mix concrete, demolish, dig and restore residential properties to their original condition.
• Use tools from demolition hammers to jigsaws with emphasis on safety (PPE/HAVS).
• Travel to project sites and collaborate with Project Managers.
