About The Role

As a valued member of our General Assistant team, you will be passionate, energetic, and attentive to detail. Your responsibilities include delivering exceptional service to our guests, maintaining the cleanliness of rooms, cottages, gardens, and public areas to the highest standards. Weekend work is required.

Hours: 30 hours per week, with overtime paid at the same rate.
NB: A valid driving license is required to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standards.
• Maintain public areas, including the Terrace, and report damages or issues.
• Keep external areas tidy and debris-free.
• Assist with linen and towel removal and delivery, including linen packs for rooms and cottages.
• Handle laundry and consumable supplies from suppliers.
• Restock fireplaces and wood supplies as needed.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Ensure stock cupboards are stocked with amenities and consumables.
• Replace external and internal lightbulbs as needed.
• Complete changeovers efficiently and protect equipment.
• Report damages or issues to management.
• Assist colleagues and be flexible in work tasks, including assisting in other departments when necessary.
• Use and maintain company vehicles, including cleaning, refuelling, and safety checks.
• Support the company's sustainability and social responsibility initiatives, aligning with our B Corp journey.
