Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I, the leading hire provider in the UK & Ireland, is seeking a General Assistant to support busy depot teams and ensure smooth operations. You will help with loading and unloading vehicles, keep the depot clean and tidy, and contribute to delivering excellent service.

This hands-on role offers training and clear progression opportunities within our award-winning in-house programs. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 (42 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in the hire industry or related engineering field is desirable.
• Ability to support the business unit to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with all aspects of the teams' activities.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles and depot upkeep.
• Supporting with training and development opportunities.
