Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a General Assistant - Cleaning for Rose Manor, Ketley Park Road, Telford, TF1 5FH. You will join a compassionate, community-focused team to keep communal areas, offices and kitchens clean and tidy, supporting residents with dignity and privacy.

The role is 25 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate of £12.71. We offer 33 days’ annual leave pro rata, pension, life insurance, training and flexible working options within a supportive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with general cleaning duties
• Some experience in a domestic or catering environment
• Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering or willingness to work towards
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas, offices, and kitchens clean and tidy
• Complete all cleaning duties to a high standard
• Report any faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment
• Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely
• Help prepare meals and drinks while meeting customers’ needs and respecting their privacy and dignity

Your role
