Job summary

Everlast Gyms in Sunderland is seeking a part-time General Assistant (Cleaner) to maintain exceptionally clean gym areas, changing rooms and facilities, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for members.

Working 20 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota, you will follow shift patterns, receive full training, and enjoy membership benefits as part of Frasers Group.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including fitness spaces, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal areas.
• Ensure gym equipment, touchpoints and surfaces are sanitised and presented to the highest standard.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements.
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.
• Support the wider club team in delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times.

The Role

As a General Assistant (Cleaner), you'll help maintain exceptional standards across all areas of the club, ensuring members always enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Cleaning team generally work to a set 2 week rolling rota so most weeks the role will follow the shift structure outlined below, please ensure shift times and days work for you before submitting an application:

• Tuesday 17:15-22:15
• Wednesday OFF
• Thursday 17:15-22:15
• Friday 16:15-21:15
• Sat-Sun OFF

Week 2

• Monday OFF
• Tuesday 17:15-22:15

• Saturday 13:15-18:15
• Sunday 13:15-18:15

What We're Looking For
