Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a General Assistant at St Ambrose's Catholic Primary School to support daily food service operations in a warm, welcoming setting.

You will help prepare and serve meals, keep areas clean and hygienic, and ensure smooth service with a focus on hygiene and safety. Full training provided; 38 weeks/year with consistent 12-month pay.

• No prior catering or food service experience required; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.

About the Role

As a General Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. From preparing and serving food to keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean and organised, you'll help ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

This role works 38 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods. Further details will be provided during the interview process.
