Job summary

JD Gyms is looking for a Club Cleaner to help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and to create a positive environment for members and colleagues. You will follow health and safety policies, perform cleaning checks, and support brand standards across the club.

Deliver friendly, professional service to members while maintaining presentation and uniform standards. This role offers development opportunities within our expanding gym network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work as part of a team while managing responsibilities independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.

You'll be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness while providing friendly and professional support to members throughout the club.
