Job summary

JD Gyms is seeking a dedicated facilities associate to uphold cleanliness and safety across our clubs in the Bolton area. You will maintain high standards, assist members, and support team training while following health and safety policies and brand procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Experience in customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Good communication and relationship-building with members and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and company procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms brand standards across the club.
• Conduct cleaning and safety checks on daily/weekly/monthly schedules.
• Report defects to keep buildings and equipment safe.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards of the gym facility.
• Keep professional appearance and uniform in line with expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives and training activities.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.

Role overview:

We're looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and wants to play an important role in creating a positive environment for members and colleagues. You'll be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness while providing friendly and professional support to members throughout the club.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.
• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.
