Job summary

JD Gyms in Belfast is seeking a dedicated cleanliness-minded team member to help maintain high standards across our club. You will uphold health and safety policies, support brand standards, and deliver outstanding member service through friendly, professional interactions.

You'll conduct daily and weekly cleaning and safety checks, report defects, and contribute to a welcoming environment for members and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities designed to promote consistent standards across the business.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
