Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a General Assistant with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our team. You will assist in preparing and serving meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while maintaining front-of-house cleanliness and meeting safety standards.

We welcome applicants with or without extensive experience and offer training, development opportunities, and a supportive team environment within our hospitality settings.

Qualifications

• Ideally have experience working within contract catering and/or hospitality.
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
• Fun and enthusiastic
• Have excellent organization skills.

• Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
• Have a flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas including organising dishes and utensils.
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Assist with filling vending machines and maintaining their cleanliness
• Provide friendly and efficient service to our customers front of house and in hospitality/events settings.
• Participate in training sessions and meeting related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
