The Best Connection Employment Group is recruiting General Assistant to join a busy catering operation in Crawley area for Gatwick Airport. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within the aviation logistics distribution and supply chain industry, with full training provided.

Available roles include Wash & Pack, Pick & Pack and Hot Kitchen Assistants with shifts across the day and night. Weekly pay, full training, and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, food production, warehouse or logistics is beneficial but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Good attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Location: Crawley Area

Pay Rate: £12.99 per hour

Overtime Rate: £19.49 per hour

Bank Holiday Rate: £25.98 per hour

Available Roles & Shifts

Wash & Pack Operatives

Shift: 19:00 - 05:00

• Cleaning and packing catering equipment
• Maintaining hygiene and quality standards
• Supporting the catering operation

Pick & Pack Operatives

Shift: 06:00 - 14:30

• Picking and packing catering items
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Ensuring accuracy and quality

Hot Kitchen Assistants

Shifts:

• 06:00 - 15:30
• 14:00 - 22:00
• Supporting food preparation and kitchen operations
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures

Requirements

• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to carry out manual handling duties
• Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Fully flexible to work the required shift pattern

Previous experience in catering, food production, warehouse or logistics is beneficial but not essential.
