Job summary

JD Gyms is looking for a dedicated team member to maintain high cleanliness standards and provide friendly, professional support to members across the club.

You will uphold health and safety policies, deliver excellent member service, and contribute to maintaining JD Gyms brand standards, while supporting training and development initiatives. This role offers the chance to grow within a fast-expanding UK gym chain.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Commitment to delivering excellent member service and maintaining high standards.
• Experience in a customer-facing, cleaning, leisure or similar environment is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while managing responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Support and maintain JD Gyms brand standards across all areas of the club.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• Maintain the gym facility to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards in line with company expectations.
• Deliver outstanding member service through positive and professional interactions.
• Support learning and development initiatives, including training activities to promote consistent standards.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties.
