Sunny Days Bridport is seeking a General Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery for children, families and staff. You will contribute to a happy, hygienic setting and support the team with daily tasks in a friendly, reliable way.

Responsibilities

• Serving children’s lunches while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety.
• Ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean, tidy, organised, and well presented.
• Regularly cleaning toilets, nappy-changing areas, and staff facilities.
• Managing laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen.
• Monitoring stock levels and replenishing cleaning materials and essential supplies.
• Supporting the nursery team in keeping rooms, play areas, and shared spaces tidy and safe for children.
• Following health and safety procedures, food hygiene requirements, and infection control guidelines at all times.

Job description

Salary: £12.71-£13.30 per hour, depending on experience

Locations: Bridport

Hours: 15 hours per week
