Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking a production technician to support the build process in our production areas. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will ensure health and safety guidelines are followed and that the PES build process is delivered to a high standard. You will escalate any build issues promptly to your leader within takt.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to learn and train others. Experience in automotive is desirable.

• Knowledge of workplace safety risk assessments and their meaning.
• Ability to make sound and logical decisions.

Job description

As a technician within the production area, reporting to the Team Leader/Group Leader at McLaren Automotive, you will take on a role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation within one of our Process areas, ensuring your build process is delivered to a high standard.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered too, the build process (PES) is followed to build a supercar to the desired standard and to escalation any build issues to your leader within takt. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals as a company.

What You'll Bring

Essential Functional / Technical Skills:

• - The understanding of processes/work instructions to deliver a consistent process.
• - The understanding of workplace safety risk assessments and their meaning.
• - Ability to make sound and logical decisions.
• - Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
