This role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, while driving operational excellence and supporting team development.You will play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, improving processes, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful financial insight.**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting* Oversee preparation of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial submissions* Manage, coach, and develop a team of accountants, driving performance and engagement* Monitor team KPIs and ensure delivery against service levels and reporting deadlines* Maintain a robust internal control environment and support audit and compliance activities* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality**Knowledge, skills and experience:*** Qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant with strong general accounting knowledge* Strong people management experience. A natural leader with the ability to motivate and mentor the team where necessary* Experience using accounting systems such as SAP and Oracle* Experience of leveraging automation in a Finance function, or desire to do so.
