Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Brighton is seeking an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join the gender affirming voice therapy team. You will deliver individual and group sessions, manage a defined caseload, and work within a supportive multidisciplinary service to help people reflect their identity.

Training and flexible working options are available, with agile and hybrid working; some home working supported with equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Experience working with adults in voice, communication and/or related specialist services.
• Ability to demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and person-centred practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist gender affirming voice therapy to TNBI individuals.
• Manage own specialist caseload with supervision from senior clinicians.
• Deliver assessments, therapy programmes and outcome measurement.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team for holistic care.
• Participate in service development, audits and learning opportunities.
