Job summary

83zero Ltd seeks a hands-on Python Developer at Consultant level to build production GenAI applications, APIs and AI integrations using Python, FastAPI and modern AI frameworks. You’ll work on LLM, RAG and AI agent solutions, deploying across AWS/Azure, Docker and Kubernetes for enterprise clients.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and client stakeholders, taking GenAI POCs through to production. This is a hybrid role with 2 days onsite in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development with commercial experience.
• API, microservices and backend app experience.
• Hands-on LLM, Generative AI and RAG skills.
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph/CrewAI.
• Vector databases and semantic search experience.
• OpenAI/Anthropic/Mistral/Llama familiarity.
• Good software engineering, testing and Git practices.
• AWS or Azure, Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• PostgreSQL or MongoDB familiarity.
• CI/CD with GitHub, GitLab or Jenkins.
• Agile engineering experience.
• GenAI POCs into production experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build production applications and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop LLM, RAG and AI agent solutions.
• Build RAG pipelines covering embeddings, retrieval and generation.
• Work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Llama or similar LLMs.
• Use LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar AI frameworks.
• Work with vector databases and semantic search.
• Take GenAI POCs into production and scale them.
• Build APIs, microservices and AI integrations.
• Deploy solutions using AWS/Azure, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write clean, testable and maintainable Python code.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and client stakeholders.
