Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Client Financing Strategist in the Fixed Income Strategies Group at Vice President level to advance GenAI-powered pricing, risk models, and electronic pricing algos across repo and bills. You will build data analytics and contribute to live risk and P&L systems, collaborating with Sales, Trading and IT.

Qualifications

• Experience with GenAI tools and their application.
• Strong programming skills; Python and Scala are plus.
• Strong statistical/econometric skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Experience in risk and P&L implementation and production support.
• Experience in trading application development.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (as listed).
• Knowledge of Fixed Income products is a plus.
• Strong communication skills across groups and regions; ability to present complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Active improvement of GenAI-powered strats and trading workflow.
• Active development and production support of trading applications in a Python-based data analytics library.
• Active development and production support in Scala-based risk and P&L system.
• Collaborate with operations, middle office and IT to improve workflows.
• Deepen repo market knowledge to improve collateral allocation and funding cost attribution.
• Identify PnL opportunities with Sales and Trading and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with other Strats groups to consolidate resources and pursue strategic solutions.
