Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with active SC clearance to develop and scale Generative AI solutions. You will work on AI-driven and traditional software projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable end-to-end systems.

You will design full-stack architectures, deploy on AWS/Azure, and apply modern DevOps practices. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI tech, mentoring opportunities and active involvement in business development.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain clearance.
• Experience building microservices with Python (FastAPI) or TypeScript (Express).
• Experience developing React apps with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Next.js, Vite or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Vercel AI).
• Hands-on experience with LLM platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Llama).
• Familiarity with model deployment tools and infra as code (Terraform).
• Experience with AWS or Azure hosting and deployment.
• DS/DevOps experience: Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose.
• Infra as code: Terraform.
• CI/CD experience: GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins.
• Observability for AI services; familiarity with vector DBs (ChromaDB, Pinecone, PGVector, Qdrant, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with NoSQL and PostgreSQL/SQL databases.
• Strong Git, modern VCS; agile delivery; stakeholder comms; cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Must hold active SC (Security Check) Clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain this level of clearance.
• Experience building microservices using Python with FastAPI, TypeScript with Express, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience developing React applications using TypeScript.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Next.js, Vite, or similar.
• Experience with Generative AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Vercel AI, or equivalent tools.
• Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Llama, or similar.
• Familiarity with tools that support local or hosted model deployment.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure for application hosting and deployment.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Docker Compose.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms including GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools for AI applications and services.
• Experience with vector databases such as ChromaDB, Pinecone, PGVector, Qdrant, MongoDB, or similar solutions.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL or equivalent.
• Strong experience using Git and modern version control platforms.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Generative AI proof‑of‑concepts using technologies such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and intelligent agents.
• Scale successful proof‑of‑concepts into robust, production‑ready solutions.
• Design and develop full stack applications across both AI‑driven and traditional software projects.
• Support the development of infrastructure that enables secure, scalable and reliable end‑to‑end solutions.
• Explore emerging technologies and apply new innovations to real‑world challenges.
• Share knowledge across the team through coaching, mentoring and technical guidance.
• Lead or contribute to proposals, bids, RFP responses and customer presentations.
• Help develop new service offerings and innovative solutions.
• Participate in customer engagement and business development activities.
• Contribute to internal campaigns, thought leadership activities and whitepaper development.
• Contribute to recruitment, team‑building initiatives and practice operations.
• Contribute to the evolution of technical capabilities, services and offerings.
