Job summary

Databricks is hiring an AI Engineer – FDE to deliver GenAI applications for customers from the UK. You will own end-to-end deployments, work with HuggingFace, LangChain and DSPy, and push the latest AI research into real-world solutions.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, travel to see customers every 4-8 weeks, and represent Databricks at industry events, sharing best practices and capabilities across AI platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience building GenAI applications with RAG, multi-agent systems and Text2SQL.
• Proficiency deploying production-grade GenAI apps and evaluating/optimizing models.
• Hands-on data science with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.
• Experience deploying ML on AWS/Azure/GCP and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Graduate degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using recent Databricks AI research.
• Own production rollouts of GenAI applications for customers and internal teams.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor across domains.
• Present at conferences and contribute to thought leadership.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmaps.
