Metrica Recruitment is seeking a Data Science & Gen AI Manager to lead strategic AI initiatives across client projects from London with hybrid working. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, guiding a team of 10–15 consultants to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will shape Generative AI applications for customer experience and digital analytics, set technical direction, and oversee proposals and costings for client engagements in a hybrid London role with UK-wide

Qualifications

• Proven experience with data science, machine learning and Generative AI.
• Practical experience developing and evaluating Large Language Models.
• Leadership experience managing projects and data science practitioners.
• Client facing consulting experience with commercial accountability.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data science and Generative AI programmes from strategy to production.
• Design, build and assess LLM driven solutions for customer focused use cases.
• Set technical direction and best practice across analytics and AI delivery.
• Manage, coach and develop high performing data science teams.
• Translate complex data into clear, decision ready insight.
• Shape proposals, costings and statements of work for client engagements.
