Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group is seeking experienced Contract Gearbox Fitters in the United Kingdom. You will strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild industrial gearboxes, diagnose faults in motors and pumps, and work from engineering drawings with tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have mechanical fitting or gearbox overhaul experience, can read technical drawings, and possess strong fault-finding skills. Overtime is available, with company van on selected roles and door-to-door pay on some contracts.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitting or gearbox overhaul experience.
• Knowledge of industrial, agricultural, or plant machinery.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pumps, motors, and rotating equipment.

Responsibilities
