Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a Gearbox Fitter (Mechanical) in Reading. The role offers 30,000 - 35,000 base salary with overtime leading to OTE around 41,000, plus 22% pension and 34 days holiday. You will fault-find, test, strip down and assemble industrial gearboxes and motors, with extensive on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with gearboxes, motors or similar mechanical equipment.
• Able to fault-find and strip down equipment.
• Willingness to undergo extensive on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, stripping down, testing and assembling of equipment.
• Working on industrial gearboxes and motors.
• On-site training and development programmes to progress your career.
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
