Job Title: GDP Warehouse Cleaner Fixed Term 12 MONTHS

Location: South Normanton DE55 2DT

Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00

Rate per hour: £12.21

Job Purpose:

To ensure the Warehouse is cleaned regularly and maintained to a high standard of housekeeping, with all areas free from dust, disused packaging, and damaged equipment replaced.

Key Accountabilities:

• Follow cleaning schedules for Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tasks, including High Level Cleaning.
• Separate cardboard and plastic packaging for proper waste disposal.
• Secure waste materials in disposal units inside and outside to prevent environmental pollution.
• Adhere to all company housekeeping procedures.
• Comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Perform any reasonable requests from Branch Management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

• Ability to use initiative and work under pressure regarding site cleanliness.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management, focusing on completing cleaning schedules within set timeframes.
• Knowledge of operation and working shifts.
• Flexibility to carry out reasonable requests by management.
• Self-motivated, responsible, with a commitment to compliance and health & safety.

Level of Decision Making:

This role involves some autonomy. The employee will need to use their initiative to manage their workload effectively.
