Job summary

Fleet Education Services is recruiting GCSE Tutors to support students in and around South Birmingham through face-to-face 1:1 and small-group tuition. Roles involve tutoring during school hours, typically at the pupil's home or a local community venue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Level 6) qualification is required.
• Minimum of UK teaching or tutoring experience (6 months).
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restrictions.
• Enhanced DBS check on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with SEN/SEMH.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalised GCSE lessons for learners.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians and schools to support learners.
• Maintain accurate session records via the virtual learning platform.

Do you want to help young learners thrive in education? Then join Fleet Education Services as a GCSE Tutor and support students in and around South Birmingham through 1:1 and small group tuition. We offer flexible working hours, weekly pay, CPD training, and a dedicated team to support you while you tutor with us. We need passionate educators to meet growing demand for face-to-face tuition, delivered during school hours, typically in the pupil’s home or at a local community venue. and start making an impact!

What You’ll Need To Be a Tutor

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Level 6) qualification.
• Minimum of 6 months UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.

Your Responsibilities As a Tutor

Please Note

• This role is flexible agency work with no minimum-hours commitment, and you will be free to choose the assignments that work for you,paid via PAYE.
• Any tuition placements you undertake with us will be covered by our insurance.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete our safer recruitment process, designed with KCSIE in mind (Keeping Children Safe in Education).
