Job summary

Fleet Education Services is seeking GCSE Tutors to support learners in and around Farnborough, Hampshire. You’ll deliver face-to-face 1:1 and small group tuition during school hours, usually at the learner’s home, school, or a local venue.

Join a flexible agency that pays weekly via PAYE; gain free ongoing training for CPD and work with a team of Tuition Consultants to match you with assignments that fit your availability and preferences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering personalised lessons that engage, inspire, and help learners’ progress.
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborating with parents, guardians, and schools to ensure learner academic success.
• Maintaining accurate session records through our virtual learning platform.
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.

Please Note:

• Flexible agency work with no minimum-hours commitment, you choose the assignments that fit your availability
• You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE.
• Any tuition placements you undertake with us will be covered by our insurance.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete our safer recruitment process, designed with KCSIE in mind (Keeping Children Safe in Education).
