Job summary

Pearson Edexcel is seeking a credible specialist in GCSE Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) to support centres in the South West, Exeter area, on an ad-hoc basis (about 2 days per month) across the academic year.

You will visit centres, provide guidance on endorsed titles, create teaching resources, and engage with teacher groups to share best practice.

This role requires professional communication, willingness to travel, and a track record of active teaching in GCSE/A Level science.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience teaching Pearson Edexcel GCSE Science and/or A Level in your title science.
• Active practitioner in the subject area with professional conduct.
• Willingness to travel to events and training activities.

Responsibilities

• Centre visits/Zoom/telephone support to guide centres through GCSE Science and A Level qualifications and materials.
• Provide guidance on endorsed titles and create teaching resources for the Pearson website.
• Share subject expertise and market information with product teams to inform future developments.
