Job summary

The West Grantham Church of England Secondary Academy in Grantham is seeking a Music Teacher to cover KS4 GCSE music. You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, support composition and performance, and maintain high standards of classroom management.

This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately, with pay on a daily rate (£174–£240) and full PAYE payroll. A QTS (ECTs welcome) and strong knowledge of the GCSE Music curriculum are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS or be an early career teacher (ECT).
• Strong knowledge of Music, including GCSE content and KS4 delivery.
• Proven ability to manage classrooms and engage students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS4 Music lessons with performance, composition and theory.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and classroom management.
• Support GCSE Music curriculum delivery and assessment.
