Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to support learners across Bootle, Seaforth and the surrounding Sefton areas. You will deliver personalised tuition, help students build confidence and prepare for GCSE maths examinations.

The role requires QTS or equivalent, strong GCSE maths knowledge, UK classroom experience, and experience with SEND. You will be patient, creative and able to adapt lessons to individual needs while monitoring progress and targets.

Qualifications

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to support learners across Bootle, Seaforth and the surrounding Sefton areas.

The successful candidate will provide engaging, tailored tuition to help students build confidence, close learning gaps and prepare for their GCSE Maths examinations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalised GCSE Maths tuition.
• Identify learning gaps and adapt lessons to individual needs.
• Support students with exam preparation and revision strategies.
• Build positive relationships and encourage learner engagement.
• Monitor progress and work towards individual learning targets.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Maths.
• UK classroom teaching experience.
• Experience working with students with SEND, complex needs or disengaged pupils.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside the box.
