Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to support learners across Bootle, Seaforth and the surrounding Sefton areas. You will deliver engaging, tailored tuition to help students build confidence, close learning gaps and prepare for their GCSE Maths examinations.

The role requires QTS or equivalent teaching qualification, strong GCSE Maths knowledge, UK classroom experience, SEND experience, and a proactive, patient approach.

Qualifications

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in GCSE Maths.
• UK classroom teaching experience.
• Experience working with students with SEND, complex needs or disengaged pupils.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside the box.

To be eligible for this role, the GCSE Maths Tutor must:

• Hold the right to work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional child-related references.
