Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a GCSE Core Tutor to deliver curriculum-aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level in Greenwich. This temporary, part-time role offers flexible hours and the chance to fit tutoring around your schedule.

QTS is essential; you should have experience teaching Maths and/or English at GCSE level, and hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one. You must have the right to work in the UK, with safeguarding checks completed.

Job Title: After School QTS Tutor - GCSE Core
Location: Greenwich
Pay Rate: 25- 35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary Part-Time Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.

Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and abiity to adapt lessons to different learners.
• Enhanced DBS check ( or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Desired

• Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs.
• Background in tutoring or delivering targeted interventions.
