Job summary

Glocomms is seeking a Lead Platform Cloud Security Architect with deep GCP expertise to steer cloud security strategy and architecture. You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure, reusable cloud patterns and drive governance across platforms.

The role requires hands-on security leadership, threat modelling, and experience with Terraform/Ansible to build validated security controls in enterprise-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cloud security, especially Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong governance, risk management and security architecture experience.
• Understanding of Privileged Access Management and cloud identity controls.
• Experience across Azure, AWS, GCP, Ali is a plus.
• Ability to produce hardened cloud configuration standards.
• Threat modelling experience with secure design focus.
• Knowledge of software vulnerabilities and remediation approaches.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for cloud build tooling.
• Proven track record in large enterprises and secure delivery.
• Awareness of financial industry laws, policies and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Lead security requirements for cloud adoption, document artifacts and governance.
• Direct collaboration with engineering to align security with cloud architecture.
• Provide detailed cloud security posture assessments and risk reviews.
• Contribute to DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC across teams.
• Develop and maintain cloud security baselines and tooling alignment.
• Create solution design documents and influence decision makers.
• Identify network threats and propose remediation strategies.
• Engage in cross-disciplinary security coverage including API, compute, storage, and orchestration.
