Job summary

Reed Technology is seeking an experienced GCP IAM / RBAC Engineer to join its Data Platform team in the UK on a contract basis. The role focuses on implementing and improving access controls, governance frameworks and security practices across a large-scale Google Cloud environment.

You will design and implement IAM/RBAC controls, manage service accounts, assist with data governance initiatives, and work closely with engineering to enhance platform security and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IAM and RBAC controls across GCP.
• Manage service accounts, permissions and access governance.
• Support data governance, classification and access management initiatives.
• Implement and maintain least-privilege access models.
• Conduct access reviews and support audit requirements.
• Work with engineering teams to improve platform security and governance.
• Support vulnerability remediation and security controls.
• Contribute to automation, monitoring and reporting processes.
