Job summary

Mpower Plus Global Ltd in Bristol (2 Days onsite - Hybrid) is seeking a GCP Data Engineer to design and deliver cloud-native data solutions. The role emphasizes end-to-end data product development, AI-enabled data approaches, and strong data quality practices. Collaboration across a multidisciplinary team will drive data architecture and governance across projects.

The ideal candidate will bring expert GCP expertise, advanced dbt/Python/SQL skills, and demonstrated leadership in data engineering.

Qualifications

• Must have expert-level GCP or cloud-based data engineering capability.
• Advanced practical experience with dbt, Python data engineering and SQL.
• Strong data modelling and ETL/ELT design skills.
• Proven end-to-end data product build experience.
• Experience applying AI-enabled approaches to data development.
• Strong testing, data validation and quality assurance capability.
• Data architecture expertise; includes MDM and enterprise data architecture experience.
• MDM and enterprise data architecture experience including strategy, solution selection, integration and implementation.
• DevOps, deployment, governance and production go-live experience.
• Senior technical leadership capable of leading a multidisciplinary feature team.
