Job summary

SoCode Limited seeks a Test Engineer with cloud and platform testing expertise for an 18-month, outside IR35 contract in London. The role focuses on testing cloud-hosted platforms, validating deployments, and reinforcing CI/CD quality practices within secure, regulated environments.

You will work with platform engineers and security teams, applying DevSecOps principles, APIs testing and Terraform/Kubernetes skills to ensure resilient, compliant solutions for deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience testing cloud-hosted or cloud-native platforms.
• Willingness to obtain UK security clearance (SC) before starting.
• Experience in secure, regulated or government environments.
• Knowledge of API/service testing is desirable.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Kubernetes platform testing.

Responsibilities

• Test and assure cloud platforms, infrastructure and services.
• Validate integrations, deployments and platform configurations.
• Support automated testing and CI/CD quality practices.
• Carry out integration, resilience and operational readiness testing.
• Investigate defects and support troubleshooting.
• Contribute to testing standards, tools and quality practices.
