Job summary

easyJet Gatwick is recruiting a B1 Licensed Engineer to join the Engineering & Maintenance team at LGW. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on A320 family aircraft, rectifying defects and certifying work in line with maintenance documentation and legislation.

You’ll work under Duty Engineers or Supervisors, contributing to safe, on‑time departures. The role offers a competitive base salary, shift allowances, generous annual bonus potential, pension and staff travel benefits.

Qualifications

• UK CAA Part-66 B1 licence with A320 type rating.
• At least three years’ operational line maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and IT-based reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, defect rectification and release-to-service activities.
• Review jobs and resources, set priorities, supervise others to maintain workmanship standards.
• Keep maintenance records, check replacements, report delays and defects through proper channels.
