Job summary

easyJet is hiring a B1 Licensed Engineer at Gatwick to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the A320 fleet. You will certify work, manage defect rectification, and support safe, on-time departures under supervision.

The role requires a UK CAA Part-66 B2 Licence with an A320 type rating and at least three years in line maintenance. You’ll work within a fast-paced Engineering & Maintenance team, enjoying a comprehensive benefits package, shift allowances, and career development

Qualifications

• Must hold UK CAA Part-66 B2 Licence with A320 type rating.
• Minimum of three years operational line maintenance experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Proficient in IT-based reporting and recording systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on A320 family aircraft.
• Rectify defects and release-to-service in line with maintenance documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and certify work, coordinating with Duty Engineers or Supervisors.
• Communicate risks and status of work to management and shift members.
• Ensure proper handling of spares, tools and handovers for the next shift.
