Job summary

VGC Group are recruiting a Gates Person with Stores experience to join our client on a new project in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire. Start date is ASAP, with a PAYE rate of £14.68 per hour and standard hours Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm.

The role requires a valid CSCS card and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Roles include controlling access, signing visitors and deliveries in and out, directing vehicles on site, maintaining site security, and supporting the management

Qualifications

• Previous gates or site access experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good punctuality and reliability.

VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Gates Person with Stores experience to join our clients team on their new project in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire. Working commencing in October 2026.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual looking for work.

As a Gateperson, your duties will include controlling access to and from the site, signing visitors and deliveries in and out, directing vehicles safely on site, maintaining site security and keeping the entrance tidy, assisting the site management team with general gate duties and following all health and safety procedures and all other associated tasks.

Pay Rate: £14.68 per hour PAYE

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm

Start Date: ASAP

Lodge and Travel is not available for this role.
