Job summary

VGC Group are recruiting a Multiskilled Operative for a new project in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire. The role starts October 2026 with a 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday schedule and a pay rate of £18.33 per hour PAYE. Distant travel and lodge are not provided.

You will assist trades, keep the site clean and safe, perform dumper/roller duties, and support general site setup while following all safety procedures. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• A valid CSCS/CPCS Card (With Dumper/Roller certification).
• Previous experience in labouring roles or similar.
• Good work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual and reliable with right to work in the UK.

Lodge and Travel is not available for this role.

• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Carrying out any other general site duties as required
