Job summary

VGC Group are recruiting a Gates Person with Stores experience to join our client on a new project in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire. Start date is ASAP, with a PAYE rate of £14.68 per hour and standard hours Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm.

The role requires a valid CSCS card and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Roles include controlling access, signing visitors and deliveries in and out, directing vehicles on site, maintaining site security, and supporting the management

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• Previous gates or site access experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good punctuality and reliability.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Control access to and from the site.
• Sign visitors and deliveries in and out.
• Direct vehicles safely on site.
• Maintain site security and tidy entrance.
• Assist the site management with gate duties and health and safety procedures.
