Job summary

Thorn Baker Group in Bury is seeking an experienced Gateperson / Traffic Marshal to manage the site entrance, control access and assist with the safe movement of vehicles and deliveries on site.

The role is on-site with an immediate start, paying £17 per hour. Candidates should have a valid Traffic Marshal ticket, CSCS card where required, full PPE, and demonstrate reliability and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Experience as Gateperson/Traffic Marshal on construction sites.
• Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksperson ticket.
• CSCS card preferred/required depending on site.
• Full PPE required.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an experienced Gateperson / Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Bury.

Job Details

Location: Bury
Position: Gateperson / Traffic Marshal
Rate: £17 per hour
Start: ASAP
Duration: TBC

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site entrance, controlling access and assisting with the safe movement of vehicles and deliveries on and off site.

Duties include:

• Controlling access to and from the site
• Managing deliveries and directing vehicles
• Signing visitors and deliveries in and out
• Assisting with traffic management around the site

• Communicating with site management and delivery drivers
• Keeping the site entrance clean and organised

Requirements:
