Job summary

Huntree Fencing Limited in St Neots is seeking a practical Gate Maker and Sales Assistant to join our hands-on team. Based on-site at our Little Paxton workshop and retail outlet, you will manufacture and assemble wooden gates and support day-to-day shop floor sales.

You will cut, measure, and prepare materials, assist customers in selecting products, process sales, and help with stock displays and light loading/unloading. A positive, reliable team player with basic carpentry skills fits best.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication and sales abilities to explain product options.
• Good organization to manage orders, stock, and workshop tasks.
• Basic practical or carpentry skills, with hand/power tools experience.
• Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely, including lifting and moving fencing panels, gates and timber.

• Reliability and readiness to work on-site as part of a small team.

Responsibilities
